Make a living between expeditions

Dream Dock describes a working trawler that carries you between flooded areas. Sail out to fish, go ashore to scavenge on foot, then bring your catch back to trade and load supplies aboard for the next trip. Mutated creatures and real-time combat make those runs dangerous.

Keep the boat and its catch in order

Your hold needs attention: stored fish can eat one another. Bait choices and crafting recipes shape what you can catch and make, while dry-dock upgrades improve the boat.

Dream Dock’s July 16 demo preview also described processing fish into materials, using a workbench to make tackle, and retrieving cargo with a grappling hook. Fuel, boat damage and deciding when to head back all factor into a trip.

Try the free Windows demo

The free Windows demo launched October 6. Its separate questline visits a remote settlement and nearby islands, with fishing, scavenging, meeting an engineer and upgrading the ship at a dry dock. Steam lists a Simplified Chinese interface and subtitles, but no Chinese audio. Steam lists the full game for Q4 2026 without an exact day.

The October 6 launch notice advises earlier playtest participants to remove old playtest saves before starting the demo because they may cause bugs or crashes.

What a wiki here would cover

A DREADMOOR wiki would have a fish catalogue with the bait for each catch and which fish eat which in the hold, the crafting recipes for tackle and materials, dry-dock upgrades, what sells where, and the dangers of each flooded area. It would start with the demo’s settlement and islands. If you would use that, give the game a thumbs-up below: the votes tell us which game to cover next.
