Legion Breaker: one wizard, then an army

Genre
Active incremental · spell upgrades · army battles
Status
Full Windows game released October 13, 2026; availability checked October 27, 2026

Start with a lone wizard and a single spell. In Legion Breaker, skeletons become gold, gold buys upgrades, and a small fight grows into a clash of armies. Baffled Engineer’s active incremental game offers a short campaign built around making your next battle look very different from your first.

Fight, earn gold, choose your next upgrade

You play the wizard, battling undead while recruited troops fight alongside you. Between battles, spend your earnings on the branching skill tree. Choices include stronger attacks, faster casting, additional spells and changes to how magic behaves. The point is not just a bigger number: your growing force can cover more of the battlefield.

A campaign with an end in sight

The full game lists 12 battlefields with bosses on the route to the Necromancer King. The developer describes the intended campaign as roughly three to four hours. That makes it a possible fit for players who enjoy incremental upgrades but want a compact game rather than a long-running idle routine.

What changed after launch

The October 22 v1.0.2 notes report fixes for remembering your selected language. In an October 23 recap, the developer discusses possible endless and prestige modes, controller support and Steam Cloud support, but explicitly says these are not a promised roadmap. Buy for the campaign that exists, not those possible additions.

Start with the released full game

As checked on October 27, 2026, the paid Windows game is released and lists English and Simplified Chinese support. The former demo listing redirected to Steam’s homepage when checked, so use the full-game store link. This does not establish that the demo has been permanently removed. The two images here come from the developer’s pre-release press kit; their exact build is unspecified.

What a wiki would cover

A useful Legion Breaker wiki would map spell branches and troop unlocks to the bosses they help answer, with current costs and update changes kept together. If you would use those references, the interest button below shares its count across both language editions.
