Fight through the route, then look closer

You shoot creatures while dodging, rolling and wall-jumping through hazardous rooms. Outside combat, the scanner bot gives you X-ray vision to examine the environment and uncover concealed routes. Exploring and mapping those connections is part of the progression, alongside light puzzles and boss encounters.

Defeated creatures provide Protoplasm. Spend that biomass in organic chambers to evolve weapons and abilities, then continue into the planet’s unexplored areas. The appeal is the combination of ranged combat and close inspection of a connected world, especially for players who enjoy searching for secrets.

Start with the updated demo

As of October 24, the Steam page offers both “Download Moadra Demo” and the full Windows game. English and Simplified Chinese interface text and subtitles are listed. Gloomsoft’s October 21 update says the refreshed demo includes localization, remappable controls and a scan logbook, with progress carrying into the full game. This carryover statement concerns the refreshed demo; it is not a promise that every older demo save remains compatible. The developer warns of frequent violence and gore.
