Analytics and preferences

The published wiki uses the site’s shared, optional Google Analytics 4 measurement. It stays off unless you choose Allow in the consent control; declining does not limit site use. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep it off. Consent is stored in this browser’s localStorage; the footer’s Google Analytics settings control can change or withdraw it. After consent, shared measurement sends the canonical page URL and static page title. It excludes searches, query strings, fragments, form contents, comment text, user input and link data. Google receives the connection’s IP address and may receive browser/device details, approximate country and a random cookie identifier. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and clears cookies set by the analytics stream; information already sent remains subject to Google’s policies and retention settings. The theme preference is stored in browser localStorage. Search uses a static index. Silver Pines has no game-specific analytics API, and advertisements are disabled.

Public comments

Comments are available on article and reference pages, but not on the home, About or Privacy page. The display name, comment and posting time are public; names are not verified. Avoid personal information. Moderators can hide or remove a comment. Discussions are scoped to this game and shared across its languages. Posting uses Cloudflare Turnstile and a shared rate limit; an IP address is used transiently for these checks, and the comments database does not store it or the challenge token. Cloudflare may process connection metadata under its privacy policy.

Problem reports

The page footer’s Report a problem form sends the page path, the game version and mods you enter, what you say the game shows, and an optional screenshot to the wiki maintainer’s private GitHub issue tracker. Reports are not displayed on the wiki; no email or account is required. Turnstile and rate limiting protect submissions, and the IP address is used transiently for those checks. A screenshot is optional and is stored in the private tracker if accepted. Do not include personal information. GitHub handles submitted reports under its privacy statement.

Hosting and corrections

Cloudflare hosts the site and may process IP addresses and request metadata. Hosting-layer analytics are separate from this wiki’s configuration; see Cloudflare Web Analytics. External links follow their operators’ policies.

For corrections, include the page and claim, the game build and supporting evidence. Use that page’s comments or Report a problem.
