Codes and puzzles (spoilers)

Silver Pines cover artwork.

Spoilers for route clues and puzzle answers. These answers come from inspected notes, dialogue and serialized puzzle records; they have not been rechecked in a running game build.

Puzzle Answer
Sheriff’s Office front door 17-15
Crimson Bear Motel, Bungalow 3 safe 6671
Downtown cable-station bells E → G → D → C → F → A → B

At the Sheriff’s Department entrance keypad, enter 17-15. The same code appears in the door-code note and Deputy Roberts’s dialogue. The evidence supports the entry code; it does not establish which optional rooms beyond the entrance are required for the investigation. See the Sheriff’s Office section in the walkthrough.

The safe in Motel Bungalow 3 uses 6671. The map’s Star pickup record identifies a forced loot container as the safe and stores this code. Enter it at that safe to access the recorded Star pickup; the map pin for the pickup is in Bungalow 3. The source establishes the location and code, not any other loot behavior. See the Bungalow 3 map and walkthrough’s ring route.

Downtown cable station: E → G → D → C → F → A → B

Section titled “Downtown cable station: E → G → D → C → F → A → B”

The recorded minigame call order is E → G → D → C → F → A → B.

  1. Find and install the five portable bells: A, B, D, E and F. The source marks C and G as already present.
  2. At the cable-station bell minigame, ring the bells in the full order E, G, D, C, F, A, B.
  3. The minigame record links successful completion to the cable-car called/completed state.

The Broken Plaque gives only the final four calls, C → F → A → B, and restores a separate plaque. It is optional; the serialized minigame does not require the plaque. The five portable bell item records are A, B, D, E and F. See the cable station map and story walkthrough.
