Enhancements

An enhancement can change more than the interface. Revealing authenticity or value changes the information available to you; moving stock or applying a layout changes real inventory. Choose by the help you want and the decisions you still want to make yourself.

The Mods directory holds current file labels, build requirements, screenshots and dated author reports. These features are as their authors describe them. For new perks, survival and capacity/output changes, see More game content. Start with Installation & troubleshooting before adding any DLL.

Match the tool to the task

• Tell containers apart: More Storage Colors is the appearance-focused choice. It does not provide the capacity upgrades described on the content page.
• Reduce repeated input: Convenience Module covers dialogue and some machine upkeep; QuickTrade prepares stock for a sale that you still confirm.
• See information sooner: Inspector-assistant reveals inspection information. Exchange Preview exposes the next Underground Exchange transaction preview within stated limits. Both can change the challenge of discovering information yourself.
• Arrange machine modules: Module Assembler plans and can apply layouts. Applying a result is an inventory operation, not just an on-screen suggestion.

These categories describe intent, not a guarantee of unchanged difficulty or compatibility with other mods.

Appearance and routine actions

More Storage Colors (and themes)

DyrClone’s More Storage Colors adds storage colors and category themes. Use it when the problem is recognizing containers at a glance. If the problem is insufficient space, read about Container Upgrade instead and consider its separate balance and save implications.

Convenience Module

maybeasd’s Convenience Module offers click-to-advance dialogue, automatic replacement of drained machine batteries and water-composition details on hover. Its water details require an AquaScan, and click-to-advance requires automatic dialogue advancement to be off.

Check those conditions before treating an inactive feature as a loading failure. The author’s header and downloadable-package labels differ; the directory records that discrepancy. Do not choose a download solely from the headline version.

QuickTrade

kale98’s QuickTrade moves suitable stock from selected containers to the counter when you press Restock. You still review and confirm the sale. Pick source containers carefully, inspect the prepared trade and keep a backup before testing: the transferred objects are actual inventory items.

If you want to retain manual control over every stock movement, its automation may be more change than you need. The author’s named demo environment does not establish compatibility with another game build.

Information and previews

Inspector-assistant

kale98’s Inspector-assistant reveals authenticity checks and true values, and includes helpers for augmented/wanted customers and berry quality. Its helpers are independently configurable.

This is an information-revealing mod. If you enjoy learning inspection tells or estimating value unaided, decide which helpers you want before enabling them. To practise those skills without installing a mod, use the wiki’s identification practice and identification guide.

Exchange Preview

dbfox’s Exchange Preview previews tonight’s Underground Exchange trades and trash removal, with bin status and night-report reminders. Random rewards show only their category; the game chooses the actual item overnight.

The author’s reminder clarification covers items eligible for an Exchange transaction, excess items and collecting the previous night’s returns. It does not promise warnings for other discarded valuables. Do not treat the bin as protected temporary storage, and do not read a category preview as a guaranteed specific reward.

Module planning and application

xiaolan0221’s Module Assembler mod plans layouts for seven machine types, including joint assembly, shared inventory and background search, with English and Chinese UI. Quick or unfinished searches do not guarantee the best possible layout.

Review the transfer list before applying a plan. Application moves inventory; removing the DLL does not undo an applied layout. Its backup covers existing disk saves, not unsaved progress, so save normally and keep a separate backup first. The directory records the author-reported startup-crash fix and the separate WaterCollector inventory-ID issue. A report marked Not a bug is not proof that the combination works.

The mod’s optional diagnostic ZIP can contain disk saves, logs and a limited action history. It neither saves the game nor uploads automatically. Review its contents before deciding to share it.

Mod or browser tool?

The downloadable Nexus mod is separate from this wiki’s browser Module Assembler. Use the browser tool if you want to explore a layout in the wiki; install the Nexus mod only if you want the author’s in-game integration and accept its installation and inventory caveats. Their names do not mean they share releases, compatibility or implementation.
