Section titled “Hiding things”
Dr. Jackson sells
Smuggler’s Bay, a small disguised compartment that hides its contents from inspection.- A safe and other hidden spots in the shop keep problem items out of sight.
- If you get caught anyway, you can try to bribe your way out.
Inspections and Security reputation
Section titled “Inspections and Security reputation”A cleared inspection earns Security reputation. Since patch 48.3.12, an inspection that follows contraband on display no longer counts. This closed an exploit where players displayed contraband, hid it in a Smuggler’s Bay and passed the inspection for free reputation.
According to a preview, good standing with Security makes inspectors more lenient.
The underground exchange
Section titled “The underground exchange”With the right license you can trade on the underground market. Its exchange posts directives: requests for specific goods, such as poison.
