  • Queen
    Puzzle ability
    Pushes rocks in introductory puzzles.
    Puzzle role
Use her to scout another region and return to the Overworld when useful.
    Planning tip
Keep an open tile behind the rock so she can leave after pushing it.
  • Warrior
    Puzzle ability
Pushes an aligned row of crystals when the tile beyond it is open.
    Puzzle role
Clear a route by moving several crystals together.
    Planning tip
Check the tile beyond the crystal row before pushing.
  • Thief
    Puzzle ability
A crystal behind her follows one tile when she steps, even when she is simply walking back.
    Puzzle role
Use movement to pull a crystal through a narrow opening.
    Planning tip
Check which crystal is behind her before stepping back.
  • Wizard
    Puzzle ability
On a cardinal step, swaps with the first crystal ahead on a clear line; if none is visible, he moves one tile.
    Puzzle role
Reach a crystal's far side or cross a gap without walking around it.
    Planning tip
Check which crystal is first in the chosen straight line; it is the swap target.
  • Bard
    Puzzle ability
Can charm monsters in an area.
    Puzzle role
Redirect monsters away from the route the party needs.
    Planning tip
Plan the nearby monster positions before charming them.
  • Druid
    Puzzle ability
    Transmutes blocks.
    Puzzle role
Change a block when its current form does not fit the route.
    Planning tip
Compare the block’s current form with the one the route needs.
  • Priestess
    Puzzle ability
Is immune to monster attacks and protects adjacent allies.
    Puzzle role
Keep an ally safe while moving near monsters.
    Planning tip
Keep the ally you want to protect adjacent to the Priestess.

Push: a Warrior direction step pushes an aligned crystal row when the tile beyond is open (corridor example). Pull: when the Thief steps away from an adjacent crystal into a free tile, it follows into the tile she just left (corridor example). Swap: when the Wizard moves toward a block or crystal in clear line of sight, he swaps with the first visible object; if none is ahead, he walks normally (corridor example).

These moves let a team position objects in different ways. See the puzzle worlds overview for how ideas come together.
