Network and shop progression

Setup
Treat rent, debt repayment and shop ownership as different obligations. Keep enough working cash for stock and the next bill before spending on a permanent upgrade. The loan panel and the relevant story or deed interaction determine the current ownership step; paying routine rent alone does not set the property-paid state.
How it works
Wild’s Network contains suppliers, production unlocks, services and later investments. The table lists configured base costs, not a promise that every service is currently buyable. Check prerequisites, remaining uses and current discounts in the network panel. A zero base-cost entry does not waive its other requirements.
Checks before committing
Advanced-tab services are hidden until the property-paid condition is met. The Makeshift Reactor perk also hides Power Hijack and Commercial Power for that run. Build a progression plan around the systems you use: farming and DNA, printing and permits, chemical supplies, aquaculture or vending. The chapter links connect each unlock to its production workflow.

Permits can gate a story or trigger a visitor
Lou’s first visit requires the business permit, so wealth alone does not start her route. Firearm permits also depend on Security standing: the customer generator can queue a revocation officer below 0 for grade I, below 30 for grade II, or below 60 for grade III. Meeting one of those cutoffs avoids that particular low-standing check, not every other permit condition. Keep permit status and faction standing separate from merely owning a firearm.
A mortgage offer is not paid ownership
The loan-shark introduction checks that the property is not paid and that your cash meets the current down payment; its one-time visitor tracking also matters. The down payment comes from the current shop price and difficulty share, rounded in 500-credit steps with a minimum of 500. Read the current offer instead of saving toward one universal amount. Lou’s financial-pressure check also distinguishes paid ownership, rent and mortgage payments, so buying the shop can change which low-cash situation qualifies without replacing her business-permit requirement.

Pay the permit fee or track the negotiated bribe
The business-permit fee comes from the current difficulty. Check the official’s quote and keep enough cash for the payment option. Completing the cash payment deducts that fee, sets business-permit ownership and hands over the permit document. Owning the shop and holding a firearm permit are different states.
In the donation/bribe trade, the accepted item’s negotiated value reduces the outstanding amount; its catalog reference price is not the credit applied. Track the remaining amount after each trade and follow the official’s completion dialogue. Security standing and firearm-permit revocation checks remain separate; a business permit does not exempt you from them.

Protect firearm permits and check stock conditions
The revocation officer checks each active firearm permit against Security reputation: I needs at least 0, II at least 30, and III at least 60. This check runs during the revocation encounter; a reputation change alone does not establish immediate revocation. If Security Surplus appears, its eligible dialogue has separate 30% stock rolls for a stock, short stock and grenade launcher with an active level-III permit, and a 50% roll for a grip with active level II. The exact permit level is checked. These stock chances do not establish the merchant’s appearance schedule, which remains unconfirmed.
| Active firearm permit | Security reputation |

| 1 | 0 |
| 2 | 30 |
| 3 | 60 |
