Marketplace and character requests

Setup

Marketplace item requests are delivery jobs, not ordinary sales. Read the exact requested item, number, deadline and reward before delivering. Character dialogue requests depend on their own story progress and can use different rules.

How it works

The reference lists configured item requirements and rewards. Credits set through the reward helper are the integer-truncated product of base value, reward multiplier and required item count. The live request remains the place to confirm its current terms. A blank value here is not a zero reward.

Checks before committing

Reserve the goods you intend to deliver and inspect their condition and labels. Selling the stock elsewhere does not complete a request. Do not count loose ammunition units as distinct item objects without checking that job’s rule. Check the completion action and the deadline rather than assuming a request resolves at closing.

Why a request will not complete

1. For ordinary item requests, match the exact requested item and count separate eligible objects.
2. Goods behind a lock are rejected.
3. Keep the required stock owned and accessible, then use the request’s delivery action: it destroys matching objects until the count is met, pays the reward and removes the request.
4. This is not a preview and does not let you select an arbitrary duplicate after delivery starts.
5. The remaining duration decreases at the start of each day.
6. Character dialogue exchanges are separate from this delivery routine.
