Black Lamp

When placed in the display case, it signals thieves that this shop fences stolen goods. Your Black Market reputation affects how likely they are to respond.

Who the lamp calls

The lamp signals only from the display case, where it lights up in the colour of its signal. Double-click the lamp to switch signals; each one calls a different Black Market seller. A new lamp starts on the Food Thief signal.

Each day, when the game draws the customers for that day, it rolls once for every lit signal. The chance is the base chance × the number of lamps showing that signal, plus half your Black Market standing, kept between 0% and 95%. Two lamps on the Thief signal at +20 standing give 10 × 2 + 10 = 30%. In the display case, the lamp tooltip shows the current chance. Black Market
